Join us for the return of our very popular Photography Night at the Museum, now open to video creators as well, on February 21 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Visitors will save 50 per cent on admission to the Museum.

Guest Speaker: RCAF Imagery Technician, Corporal Connor Buchanan
Talk time: 7:00 p.m.
As part of Aviation Imaging Night, visitors are invited to hear from Corporal Connor Buchanan, an Imagery Technician with the Royal Canadian Air Force, who will share insights into their work documenting aviation and military operations through photography and video.
Cpl. Buchanan’s experience includes combat camera operations, formal military portraiture, historic documentation, and videography. He has recently returned from Latvia, where he was serving under NATO’s Multinational Brigade as part of Operation Reassurance, focusing primarily on combat camera and videography. His work has also taken him to Churchill and other northern regions of Manitoba in support of RCAF operations.
Often best described as a photojournalist specializing in capturing military history, Cpl. Buchanan will provide insight into how Imagery Technician’s support operations, preserve history, and tell the stories behind aviation and service.



You are welcome to bring tripods; however, we ask that flashes be used sparingly to avoid interfering with other participants’ shots. Drones are not permitted at the event.
Please note: this event is intended for photographers and video creators, not general visitation. The Play Zone area will be closed during this extended-hours event.
Lighting throughout the evening will be as follows:
- 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.: Museum lighting at 100 per cent
- 7:30 – 9:00 p.m.: Museum lighting reduced
