January 30 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
We invite you to join us for our next Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the Canadian Aviation Historical Society – Manitoba Chapter, which will be held both in-person at the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada and virtually via Zoom on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 7:00 PM CST.
If you would like to nominate someone to join the chapter executive, please send your nomination via email prior to the meeting. Please note that nominations will not be accepted from the floor during the AGM.
Our featured presentation will be given by Les Oystryk, a retired conservation officer from Creighton, Saskatchewan, with a deep interest in northern Canadian history. Les will explore the history of the RCAF’s photographic operations in the Reindeer Lake and Churchill River regions, spanning northern Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Reindeer Lake, located just north of the 56th parallel, straddles the border between the two provinces and has played a key role in aviation history.
Registration is requested. Please sign up to reserve your spot for the meeting and presentation.
We look forward to seeing you there!
