Canadian Aviation Historical Society – Manitoba Chapter Meeting

Annual general meeting, with a presentation by Andrea Charron and James Fergusson. The topic is NORAD: In Perpetuity and Beyond, the recent history of the North American Aerospace Defence Command.

Andrea Charron is Associate Professor in Political Studies and Director of the Centre for Defence and Security Studies at the University of Manitoba. Dr. Charron has written extensively on the Arctic, NORAD, Canadian Defence Policy, and the Security Council.

James Fergusson is the Deputy Director of the Centre for Defence and Security Studies and Professor in the Department of Political Studies at the University of Manitoba. Dr. Fergusson’s areas of expertise are foreign and defence policy, international relations, and strategic studies.

Andrea Charron and James Fergusson are the authors of NORAD: In Perpetuity and Beyond (MQUP, 2022).

Registration is required at CAHS-MB. Our meetings are free and open to CAHS members and everyone interested in Canadian aviation history.
