Discover how a group of engineering students from Manitoba built an award-winning remote-controlled aircraft and beat out teams from around the world.
Developed in partnership with the University of Manitoba Price Faculty of Engineering, this exhibit highlights the efforts of UM’s Polar Air team and their path to success at the SAE Aero Design competition.

Join Dr. Labossiere to learn more about opportunities in the University of Manitoba Student Chapter of SAE International and how the program inspires students and future aviators to consider careers in engineering and STEM fields.
Students from the UM Polar Air team will also be available to discuss their winning design at the SAE Competition and their experiences competing at national events across North America.
