RAMWC Photo Contest (“the contest”)

CONTENT AND PRIZING
Submit your favourite photos of our aircraft or building.
PRIZE 1: $100 Don’s Photo gift card and a $25 Landing Zone Boutique gift card
PRIZE 2: $50 Don’s Photo gift card and a $25 Landing Zone Boutique gift card
PRIZE 3: $50 Don’s Photo gift card and a $25 Landing Zone Boutique gift card


Entry Limit: Two per person

Winner will be notified on or before February 28, 2025.

ELIGIBILITY
Must be 18 years or older at the time of entry. Contest is open to Canadian residents, excluding Quebec, who have previously visited the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada OR who visit on February 1, 2025. Employees of the Museum and immediate family or household members are not eligible to win.

HOW TO ENTER
Eligible participants may submit two (2) photographs taken at the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada on or before the evening of February 1, 2025. Entries may be submitted at the link below until 11:59 pm CST on Friday, February 15, 2025.

ENTRY SPECIFICATIONS
Submitted photo files must:
– Include the photographer’s first and last names
– Be at least 2 MB

DISCLAIMERS
This contest is sponsored by the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada, located at 2088 Wellington Avenue in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, (the “Sponsor”).

By participating, entrants agree to these Official Contest Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, and will not hold the Sponsors and their partners and employees liable. By accepting a prize, the winner agrees to the Sponsor publishing their first name and city/province without further notice or compensation. Personal information will be used for the purpose of administering this contest only. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify all or part of the contest at any time, for any reason. No purchase necessary.

COPYRIGHT AND PERMISSIONS
Upon submitting entry(ies) to the contest, entrants will retain ownership of their images, however, the following permissions are granted to the Museum:

– Permission to publish photo(s) on its social media channels, website, in print materials, and other media, for the purpose of marketing and promoting the museum and its activities. Photographer credit will be given wherever possible.
– Permission to share photo(s) with partners of the Museum for the purposes of promoting the, and/or for promoting tourism in Winnipeg and/or in Manitoba.

WINNER SELECTION
One winning entry, and two (2) other entries, selected as second and third place will be selected from all eligible photographs received by the entry deadline by a judges’ panel consisting of Museum employees, volunteers and/or by popular opinion gathered via social media. The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received during the contest period. The judging of entries will take place before February 28, 2025.

Before being declared the winner, the selected entrant will be contacted by email by a Museum employee to notify them of their winning entry. The selected entrant must reply within two (2) business days of notification by email. The selected entrant will be emailed a photo release form and a mathematical skill-testing question. The release form and the correct answer to the question, must be returned by email to the Museum within one (1) business day before being declared the winner.

If the selected entrant cannot be contacted, fails to return the contest documents or answer the skill-testing question within the specified time, they will forfeit the prize, and the Museum reserves the right to select an alternate winner from the eligible entries received.
