Register the aspiring aviator in your life for one of our half-day Summer Fun programs!
Summer Fun Days children’s programming starts July 2, 2024, and runs every Tuesday morning from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm through August 20.
Each program is 2.5 hours long and includes a museum tour, an educational component and hands-on STEM activity, nut-free snack, and supervised playtime outdoors in Aviation Plaza.
We’re offering three programs, each geared towards a specific age group.
Please review each program before registering.
Drop-off begins at 9:45 am. Parents/guardians are welcome to drop off participants and return at 12:30 pm for pickup, or purchase a ticket and stay to enjoy the museum.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS
Hoops, There It Is!
(ages 5 – 7)
Learn about the four forces of flight—lift, drag, gravity, and thrust—as you build your very own hoop glider.

The Wonderful World of Planes
(ages 7 – 12)
Learn about different types of aircraft then design and build one of your own!

Hoops, There It Is!
(ages 8 – 12)
Learn about the four forces of flight—lift, drag, gravity, and thrust—as you build your very own hoop glider.
This program provides higher level information about aviation history and STEM principles than our ‘Hoops, there it is!’ program for ages five through seven.

Advance registration is required.
FEES:
$20.00/per child
Annual pass holders & members save 25% on registration fees! (Discounted rates will appear when you log in to your account on the registration page.)
PAYMENT TERMS:
- Full payment is due upon booking.
- Cancellations made more than ten (10) business days prior to the program date will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made within ten (10) business days of the program will receive a partial refund of 50% of the program fees.
- Cancellations made within 72 hours of the program date are not eligible for refund.
